Winter starts to feel long to me after Christmas. I need something to look forward to. That is when I start making travel plans for an escape from the cold. I travel fairly regularly. I travel with the whole family, I travel with just my husband, and I travel alone. And one thing I know about traveling while flying, is that as a society, we are getting really comfortable about dressing down while flying. But I also know, I’m more likely to be upgraded, or have better service, if I dress up a bit. I’m not talking about wearing something uncomfortable the cuts into your waist and could make your travel day feel even longer.
There is nothing wrong with flying in something comfortable like leggings, but dress them up. A solid or more subtle pattern is best. Make sure the top, tunic, or dress that you wear with the leggings covers everything. When I stand up, if my top goes down to my fingertips, I’m comfortable and covered.
Lularoe has so many great pieces to travel in, because they are stylish, flattering, and comfortable. You feel better and more confident at a busy airport when you know you look your best. Another plus is that so many LuLaRoe pieces lend themselves to layering. You need to wear layers at airports. One minute you are too hot; the next minute, you are freezing.
Some of my favorite LuLaRoe looks for travel
The Amelia dress. Some of you may not think to grab a dress when planning travel, but why not? The Amelia is so comfortable and flattering, you can’t go wrong. I love that it is made of stretchy material but has some structure in the waist. The wide pleats look good on everyone. One caution with the Amelia: occasionally the metal zipper up the back will set off airport security and you may get a pat down. On the other hand, you’ve got pockets.
The Madison skirt. Another option with pockets, without a zipper, is the LuLaRoe Madison skirt. This skirt goes with just about all the tops in your closet. You can layer a tank or a tee shirt and a sweater with your Madison, because the plane may be warm, and you’ll want to ditch the sweater, or cool, and you’ll want to bundle up. I love its comfortable waist band and cute pleats.I travel in heels, without a problem, but if I’ve got the whole family, I opt for some stylish flats that slip on and off, because you need them off, for TSA. With the Madison, you could wear ballet flats, sandals, Converse tennis shoes…almost anything goes.
The Carly dress. The Carly is another great travel option, because it’s completely comfortable, even if you find yourself curled up on the floor playing games with kids, everything stays covered. The Carly is a short sleeved, knee length stretchy dress. Layer it with a denim jacket, hoodie, cardigan sweater, or even a calf-length sweater like the Sarah. The Carly is so versatile, it is a must for any trip anywhere.
Travel well friends! I hope you go someplace warm this winter! Even if you don’t check out my new shopping website and you can order clothes directly from there. Traveling or not, you deserve cute and comfy outfits.
